# Unboxing Samurai Speed | The Five Rings Collection

Hello I’ll be unboxing the new Samurai Speed shoes. They’re inspired by Miyamoto Musashi and his book The Five Rings and comes in five different colors. The Samurai Speed are my favorite shoe. They’re the only shoe that I actually wear when I train and when I compete. One thing I really enjoy about the Samurai Speed is that it has a higher ankle support.

So for me high ankle support is really important I like that this back part like the ankle support is is little bit tougher and then it transitions to like this mesh so that’s like you know it’s more breathable movable. I’m someone who likes to move a lot on on the wrestling mat. All of the Samurai Speed collection shoes have unique bottoms. My favorite part of it is obviously the little Samurai in the back.

Miyamoto Musashi was known as probably the greatest swordsman of all time if he’s not the greatest he’s definitely in the top five. One of the coolest things about the shoe as well is it has in kanji it has “A Way Of LIfe” right here. I think that’s pretty awesome to be able to see that this symbol is also the same symbol that was used on Dave Schultz jackets of his club the Dave Schultz’s wrestling club and again we have Dave Schultz’s signature right here so there’s a lot of symbolism on the shoe. It’s definitely my favorite shoe and the shoe that I’ll be wearing until I probably retire.
