How to do KDP Niche Research ?

Hello friends today in this video I am going to share with you a method by using which you can find a lot of profitable niches to publish your books in. This is the exact method that helped me to start my KDP publishing journey and it has been a really valuable technique that I use even to this day to find various different profitable niches to publish my books in. So, without any further delay lets head onto my laptop and let’s learn how to do the Niche Research for Amazon KDP book publishing. The first website that we are going to use to do our Niche research is called Redbubble. So simply go to Redbubble.com and you will come to this website.

After that we are going to go to this search-bar and search for something. So, as you can see as we click this search-bar Redbubble automatically shows us some of the trending searches. As you can see Coronation street, Skeggs Oriental rug, As you can see, this terms are currently trending on Redbubble, so they definitely must be trending on other e commerce websites also I have no idea what these search terms mean but as you can see this trending search feature can be really helpful to catch on various different Trends and you can publish your books on such Trends but for this purpose, Lets search for some hobbies We can search for various different hobbies in the sticker section, in the t-shirt section, in iPhone cases section.

But for this purpose, let’s search for hobbies in the sticker section, as you can see there are over Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand stickers related to hobbies.

So, let’s look at some of the designs here but before looking at some of the designs in this sticker section Lets sort it out by best-selling. So one of the best feature about this redbubble website is that we can sort our searches according to trending newest or best selling, which is a really handy feature when you’re doing a Niche Research.

So lets sort our searches by Best-selling. So, when we sort our searches by bestselling we can establish that all of the designs that we are looking on the first page or the second base are selling really well. It establishes that these designs have a demand on the market.

So, as you can see right away, we come up with a Niche here. which is a Niche related to Hikers. As we go down as you can see it is a SpongeBob related sticker. So, you have to stay away with anything that might be trademarked or copyrighted. So, as you can see SpongeBob is a really popular cartoon character.

So, we are not going to make anything that is related to SpongeBob or any cartoon characters that are really popular. Succulent plant sticker. Again, another great Niche. which is a ski goggles sticker. Goose With a Knife.

Again, hiking Niche and Niche for mountaineers. So, after you collect a list of various different Niches what you can do is, you can head onto Amazon and look if the Niche is viable or not.

So lets for instance as you can see Biking Dad is one Niche that we have come up with on our Niche research. So, what we can do is head on to Amazon and search for biking dad. As you can see someone has searched for biking dad gifts, so it is automatically shown in this Amazon search bar.

So, what this establishes is that it establishes that this has a demand on Amazon also, otherwise Amazon would not recommend us this keyword. So, as you can see biking dad gifts is a Niche that people are searching for. So, as you can see, we searched for various different hobbies in red bubble and came up with various different ideas to publish books in. We can do the same thing for various different animals or various different flowers or something of that sort or what you can also do is as we search for hobbies in this sticker section. We can search for hobbies in the clothing section and arrange it according to the bestselling titles to come up with various different Niche ideas that will help you to publish your books in.

The second website that I used to do my Niche research is called etsy.com. So, let’s head onto its etsy.com and let me show you how I do my Niche research here. So, after we go to Etsy.

com we are going to click on the search bar here. Right after we click on the search tab, as you can see, we come up with various different trending topics right now that are really popular on Etsy. So, you can take a look at all of these topics, and you can come up with some interesting Idea So as you can see, here is 1 trending topic here ugly Christmas sweater man funny. So, what we can do is we can create something Related to this topic and as this topic is popular on Etsy, so it will definitely be popular on Amazon also. As this phrase Street ugly Christmas sweater men funny.

We can create something funny Christmas gifts for men or something of that sort.

As you can see here is another term related to tarot card reading we can create a book related to tarot card reading also something of that sort. So now what we are going to do is search for let’s use hobbies for this purpose also. For this tutorial purpose let’s search Let’s search for a gift related to guitar lovers So let’s search for some mugs related to guitar lover. So, what we are going to do is, we are going to pick a hobby or animal and search for various different print on demand products for that hobby.

So I have searched for guitar lover mugs here you can do the same with t-shirts and by using various different hobbies or you can also use totally different type of niches So let’s say for instance you are going to find Niche related to various different animals then what you are going to do it search for animal lover gifts and followed by a print on demand product.

So lets look at some of the print on demand products. So, let’s select this product here. Now, what you are going to do is select one of the products that has fairly high number of reviews in its stores, as you can see this has 246 reviews. So, let’s take a look at this product here.

Now, we are going to take a look at reviews for this shop so let’s head onto review section. As you can see the shop has 236 shop reviews. So, let’s take a look at some of the reviews So these are the reviews for the product that we are looking for, but we are not concerned about this. We are concerned about finding new Niches so let’s look at some other reviews. As you can see when we look at the reviews it also shows the purchased item so we can see this new Niche here, as you can see movie lover gift.

So, what you can do is you can go ahead and look at various different reviews and see the purchased item and least jot down all of the Niches. So, as you can see yet another Niche here animal lover gifts another nice animal lover gift. Drone lover gift politics flower gift to lover gift animal lover gift to lover gift to educate the company’s different number of Pieces can be found by using this method for podcast lover gift.
