9 Beginner Kayak Fishing Mistakes I Made… And You Should Avoid!

Nine kayak fishing mistakes i made and you should avoid starting now i’ve been in a kayak fishing  sport for a while now and the reality is i made some dumb mistakes the good news is you can learn  from them and probably save some cash in the process i’m gonna skip over the begging you for  the legs and sub and bell and hop right in and get this party started here’s the thing stick around.

To the end because the last three are specific to fishing out of your kayak mistake number nine here  we go your skin is not the only thing that could be compromised by the sun the reality is those  uv rays will destroy just about anything over time you can just ask my hot tub cover fortunately that  also means your kayak you see kayaks are made most of them from polyethylene fun fact polyethylene is  the most widely used plastic in the world and two things happen to polyethylene when exposed to uv  rays one is that the colors fade big bummer two is that the plastic actually becomes brittle this  is kind of a big deal for those who carry a lot of heavy loads on their kayak i know mine fully  loaded.

Is around 100 pounds and so that crack that you got or maybe you saw on a social media feed  with somebody else may have less to do with the manufacturer and how they built the kayak and more  about how it was stored there’s two things you can do here one is the obvious one do not store it in  the sun as you can see here i have mine up on a pulley hoist if you’re interested how to do that  i made a video about it i’ll throw it up in the cards just because it’s not outside doesn’t mean  those rays are not coming through the glass and fading the color of your awesome kayak as you can  see here i’m still making that mistake because i don’t have any cardboard over here so it wouldn’t  surprise me that when i take this down this little section here would be faded by the sun looks like.

I need to learn from that mistake second thing you can do is actually use a protectant i highly  recommend the aerospace 303 this stuff right here the reality is it’s kind of expensive but  it’s worth it some of the best out there on the market so i’ll throw a link in the description  below moving on number eight whether you purchased a kayak or not this mistake is probably one you  never thought of the color of your kayak when you’re looking for a kayak you’re looking at  the color and be like how awesome does it look the question you’re not probably asking yourself.

And maybe it should is how will i be visible in the water to other watercraft if you’re concerned  with safety especially if you fish those heavily traffic waterways then this might be something  you want to consider but if you fish places with not a lot of both traffic but you’re moderately  concerned with boat safety that i have another option for you so when you’re on the water your  best colors to be seen are obviously your high vis colors is green your hive is yellow your  hive is orange like this guy right here kind of difficult not to see him your moderate colors  are going to be your reds your blues your greens and some of your worst colors are gonna be your  white kayaks might not be thinking about this but on a sunny day out in the water you’re just gonna  look like a glare also one of the worst colors is camouflage because you blend in right with.

The horizon you have to be a complete idiot if you were to purchase a camouflage kayak  now keep in mind when we’re on the water we assume that boaters see  this but the reality is a lot of times boaters might only see this profile of your kayak so  it may be a really good idea to pay attention to the color of your kayak and if you don’t have one  if you have a camouflage like this idiot here well it might be a good idea to get a flag for your yak  then yak attack makes a fantastic kayak flag so check it out and if you fish tonight it lights up  so i’ll throw that link below mistake number seven all right this one’s gonna be quick i purchased my  native slayer propel 10 off facebook marketplace drove two hours to pittsburgh to pick it up and.

I  didn’t have a trailer at the time so i took every single strap i owned threw it to the top of my car  and drove home and it was the loudest ride of my life as all of these straps vibrated in the  wind well what i didn’t realize was happening at the time as i was flying down the road at 70  miles per hour as that strap was vibrating and whenever that strap started touching  my kayak that’s what was making a lot of the vibrations and when i came home i found that all  that friction actually melted part of my kayak was the big bummer because i just purchased it  so if you’re gonna take a long trip make sure you put a piece of cardboard in between the strap and.

Your boat so you don’t melt your kayak moving on a mistake number six this is a mistake i made i just  purchased my fishing kayak and just hop out in the water and started fishing i had no clue i didn’t  know my limitations i didn’t know my abilities and i definitely didn’t know my safety measure  i’m not gonna go into a ton of detail here but at a high level you should at least know how to do  these things you know how to do a deep water re-entry in case you fall out of your kayak  it’s not as simple as you may think should know how to identify wind speed and know  kind of what’s your line i just did a video on this how to identify wednesday by deducing  how the wind affects the things around you throw those up in the car you let someone know where.

You’re going to be when you’re out kayak fishing to be prepared for the weather actually should be  prepared for immersion should at least somewhere on your yak have a whistle or some type of small  horn make sure you have a toe line i always also keep a knife on my body you of course should  have a personal floatation device watch your hydration and much more i share these things  that the leading cause of death and kayaking is drowning and drowning a lot of times the result  of not knowing your abilities your limitations and your safety measures these are actually a bullet  point list of a video i’m putting together so if you’re not sub to this channel hit that sub and.

Bell and you will be notified when it comes live moving on to mistake number five fishing kayaks  are expensive and since you’re dropping a bunch of cash you should be able to try this  thing out before you buy it just like you would with a car so here’s some things to consider  some stores won’t let you try before you buy but here’s the thing you don’t have to buy for them  you’re the one that has the cash you’re the one that has leverage go somewhere else obviously  you could buy use like i said earlier i bought mine.

Off a Facebook marketplace all you have to  do is let the seller know they would you meet me at the local pond so i can test this thing out  just make sure that you’ve done your research and you’re ready to buy some specialty kayak stores  actually build ponds on their property so you can try these out they’re not everywhere but do  your research you might have one near you here’s another option if you absolutely have a kayak that  you love and it’s only sold at this store and you can’t find it anywhere else you might want to dig  into the return policy it might be very generous just make sure you dial in whether or not it’s an  in-store credit or a full refund and last thing if you’re not in a hurry a lot of these stores sell  kayaks have demo days a few times a year so head over the website.

And see when those are alright if  you’re still with me hit that like button let me know you’re tracking moving on to mistake  number four get a kill guard before it’s too late and the damage is already done here’s the thing i  did that with my native slayer i was so excited when i bought it i just hopped out in the water  and i kind of destroyed the front hall of it here here’s the here’s a video of it um so i actually  did a day kidded keel guard for that it’s working out great like most things that you think a bunch  of money into you want to keep them nice and i know that my kayak fully loaded like i said is  a hundred pounds and when you ram that into a rock it’s going to do some damage.

To the polyethylene hull  and since most kayaks purchased from the store don’t come with a cue guard it might be a good  idea for you to get one three options for you here number one obviously you can purchase these online  they’re kind of expensive though but if you do a quick google search you can find option number  two if you really want to invest into your kayak i highly recommend doing a day keel guard using  kidded i actually did a video on how to install this and how all the things that you need to  purchase it so I’ll throw that up in the cards you can do it for yourself i put mine on the middle  last season it’s been holding up ever since so highly recommend that and the third option i have  is kind of exploratory i found this kayak it’s Aruba 10.

In a river about a year and a half ago  and i i turned into the police and they said if no one comes for it it’s yours well that was a year  and a half ago so it’s mine I’m starting to mod it out a bit and i don’t want to spend a lot of time  putting a day kidded kilogram into I’m testing out how this would actually work it’s gorilla tread  tape I’m going to put a video together here in the future and I’ll let y’all know how this holds up  you can see here it’s really rough and since I’m not in that kayak a whole lot it’s more force  someone wants to come fishing with me i don’t want to invest a lot of money and this thing was like  10 bucks all right we’re down to the last three and like.

I promised these have to do with mistakes  i made fishing from my kayak well all right let’s start with number three all right this one has to  do with keeping a low profile before i was a kayak fisherman i was a bank fisherman so i didn’t worry  a whole lot about sound well now that you’re in a kayak there’s all kinds of noises coming from  your kayak that could spook those bass so keeping a low profile is key also keep in mind where those  eyes are on the largemouth bass on the top of their head so they’re very aware what’s going on  on top of the water i fish here in northeast Ohio a lot if there’s one lake that i fish and there’s  a bald eagle-ness and often i see that bald eagle come down snatch a bass and take off so it’s going  to benefit you to keep a low profile and this is what.

I mean if you have an electric motor  on your kayak you might want to turn that off and pedal into your spot so you don’t spook the fish  if you have a pedal powered kayak you’re going to slow this down so you’re not making a lot of  noise as you enter into where you want to fish and i would imagine most you paddle your kayak  at some point so keep in mind the splash that you’re making with your kayak paddle and also  anytime you bang that against your boat it’s not helping your fishing game man mistake number two  is keep your distance and i’m not talking about from other kayak fishermen talking about keep your  distance away from those bass guys and gals it’s going to.

Be much easier for you to catch that bastard  track in if they don’t know you’re there there’s a tendency to try to get as close as you possibly  can to that bass but actually that works against you don’t have to shake hands with that thing  you just got to be able to make out the outline of the fish and the further away that you are  the higher the chances are you’re going to get a bite quality optics will help you here but also keep in  mind how you have your kayak position if possible do your best to position your kayak and your back  to the sun and mistake number one i made this mistake.

All the time a lot of you guys are deadly  with where you can put that lure i mean you can put it just about anywhere you want and this comes  into play a lot when it comes to bed fishing you see a fish and you just kind of land that  lure right on its head and.

What happens actually those fish scatter i used to make that mistake  all the time until i learned to overcast my lure instead of landing it and dropping a bomb right in  the middle of the bed or right where that fish was overcast your lure a few feet and then dance that  right back through where that fish is sitting to get that reaction bite if you like these tips  you’re going to love this video 11 things i wish i knew before i started kayak fishing right there.

How sugar affects the brain

Picture warm, gooey cookies, crunchy candies, velvety cakes, waffle cones piled high with ice cream. Is your mouth watering? Are you craving dessert? Why? What happens in the brain that makes sugary foods so hard to resist?

Sugar is a general term used to describe a class of molecules called carbohydrates, and it’s found in a wide variety of food and drink. Just check the labels on sweet products you buy.

Glucose, fructose, sucrose, maltose, lactose, dextrose, and starch are all forms of sugar. So are high-fructose corn syrup, fruit juice, raw sugar, and honey. And sugar isn’t just in candies and desserts, it’s also added to tomato sauce, yogurt, dried fruit, flavored waters, or granola bars.

Since sugar is everywhere, it’s important to understand how it affects the brain. What happens when sugar hits your tongue? And does eating a little bit of sugar make you crave more? You take a bite of cereal. The sugars it contains activate the sweet-taste receptors, part of the taste buds on the tongue. These receptors send a signal up to the brain stem, and from there, it forks off into many areas of the forebrain, one of which is the cerebral cortex. Different sections of the cerebral cortex process different tastes: bitter, salty, umami, and, in our case, sweet. From here, the signal activates the brain’s reward system. This reward system is a series of electrical and chemical pathways across several different regions of the brain.

It’s a complicated network, but it helps answer a single, subconscious question: should I do that again?

That warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you taste Grandma’s chocolate cake? That’s your reward system saying, “Mumm, yes!” And it’s not just activated by food. Socializing, sexual behavior, and drugs are just a few examples of things and experiences that also activate the reward system. But over activating this reward system kickstarts a series of unfortunate events: loss of control, craving, and increased tolerance to sugar. Let’s get back to our bite of cereal. It travels down into your stomach and eventually into your gut. And guess what? There are sugar receptors here, too. They are not taste buds, but they do send signals telling your brain that you’re full or that your body should produce more insulin to deal with the extra sugar you’re eating.

The major currency of our reward system is dopamine, an important chemical or neurotransmitter. There are many dopamine receptors in the forebrain, but they’re not evenly distributed.

Certain areas contain dense clusters of receptors, and these dopamine hot spots are a part of our reward system. Drugs like alcohol, nicotine, or heroin send dopamine into overdrive, leading some people to constantly seek that high, in other words, to be addicted. Sugar also causes dopamine to be released, though not as violently as drugs. And sugar is rare among dopamine-inducing foods. Broccoli, for example, has no effect, which probably explains why it’s so hard to get kids to eat their veggies. Speaking of healthy foods, let’s say you’re hungry and decide to eat a balanced meal.

You do, and dopamine levels spike in the reward system hot spots. But if you eat that same dish many days in a row, dopamine levels will spike less and less, eventually leveling out.

That’s because when it comes to food, the brain evolved to pay special attention to new or different tastes. Why? Two reasons: first, to detect food that’s gone bad. And second, because the more variety we have in our diet, the more likely we are to get all the nutrients we need. To keep that variety up, we need to be able to recognize a new food, and more importantly, we need to want to keep eating new foods.

And that’s why the dopamine levels off when a food becomes boring. Now, back to that meal. What happens if in place of the healthy, balanced dish, you eat sugar-rich food instead? If you rarely eat sugar or don’t eat much at a time, the effect is similar to that of the balanced meal. But if you eat too much, the dopamine response does not level out.
In other words, eating lots of sugar will continue to feel rewarding.

In this way, sugar behaves a little bit like a drug. It’s one reason people seem to be hooked on sugary foods. So, think back to all those different kinds of sugar. Each one is unique, but every time any sugar is consumed, it kickstarts a domino effect in the brain that sparks a rewarding feeling.

Too much, too often, and things can go into overdrive. So, yes, overconsumption of sugar can have addictive effects on the brain, but a wedge of cake once in a while won’t hurt you.

Sources of Bad Breath or Halitosis: Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat

When it comes to bad breath or halitosis, treatment cannot be pursued until the location of the bad breath is identified. Broadly speaking, the source of a person’s bad breath may come from 4 different regions: the nose, mouth, throat, and lungs. Before being able to successfully treat bad breath or halitosis, one must first determine WHERE the bad breath is coming from. Is it coming from just the nose, just the mouth, or BOTH from the nose and mouth. Assuming air coming out of the lungs is fresh and pure, should bad breath emanate only from the mouth but not the nose, the source of the bad smell is somewhere in the mouth.

For example, this occurs with morning breath or patients suffering from a dry mouth or dental problems. If the bad breath ONLY occurs from the nose, but not the mouth, the source of the bad odor is due to some type of sino-nasal issue like a sinus infection or nasal foreign body. If the bad breath emanates from BOTH the nose and mouth, this suggests the source of the bad smell to be coming from the throat or even the lungs. Examples of lung or throat issues that may cause halitosis include reflux, throat cancer, and lung infections as well as more systemic issues like diabetes and advanced kidney or liver disease. Of course, one can potentially also have a simultaneous mouth and nose problem.

When it comes to the mouth, one can further localize where the bad smell is coming from by doing the finger scratch and sniff test. Basically, gently scratch with a fingernail the front surface of the tongue, tonsil, and even the very back of the tongue one at a time followed by sniffing the material collected on the finger. Once the location and because of your bad breath have been identified, only then can treatment be successfully pursued.

Reinventing Life after 50: Making a Midlife Career Change and Finding a Job You Love after 50

The bad thing about a lot of people’s career is they get into something because they think this is what I do and they stay in it because of invisible handcuffs whatever you you know there’s a myopic view that I can only do what I’ve done before thank so much for joining us again on our second act with Paige and Silke I’m happy that Darrell Gurney is staying with us for another segment on life after 40 50 and beyond on our last segment we discussed Darrell a very important topic which.

Is that we you know as we get into our second half or in with you on your platform the back forty that we lot of us go through awakenings and in realizing that you know we’re not happy we’re stuck but don’t know how to move on but we want to focus on today is if we have made that decision and we’ll link to the last segment so people can kind of catch up on what it’s like to get to that point but now we’ve made that decision the practicality of it brings up a whole other side of issues so help us understand how to make those steps you know what.

I just came to my mind as soon as you said that was a a quote by Helen Keller Helen Keller said life is either a daring adventure or nothing and I think that’s very relevant for what you’re saying because look as at 40 50 or 60 people get way reticent to take risks okay it’s just real easy being in the comfort zone so to actually take on as what you said that we’re now at the point where we’re going to make that move we’re going to move outside of that relationship there’s not the security that’s always been there there’s a whole lot of unknown right on the I’m address it two ways one on the theoretical side and one on the practical side on the theoretical side in the back forty we say that the first half was just R&D research and development for what you came here to do.

And who you came here to be any up so therefore it’s not actually reinventing it’s actually going to do what you came here to do and so therefore being open that oh this is why I came versus I’ve got to try to hold together what I’ve put together well that was all R&D now what have you learned about yourself what are you interested in so let’s even talk career cuz that’s going to be a big thing right whenever someone maybe you know makes that choice to move on or you know can I make it on my own and do.

I have what it takes and all of this stuff so the first half has given you a lot of opportunities to discover what you’re passionate about you know Silke you’re a very different person right now than you were 20 years ago so totally yes the things that you’re passionate about what you care about is very different the bad thing about a lot of people’s career is they get into something because they think this is what I do and they stay in it because of invisible handcuffs whatever you know there’s a myopic view that I can only do what I’ve done before but you’re very different and.

I believe life is about continuing to explore who you are and going with passions now in the traditional model and this is where I’ll get into the practicality in the traditional model of career change people can only go get a job in something doing what they’ve done before right because HR and you know everyone’s with the checklist have you done this have you done this right now let then that doesn’t apply to 20 year olds cuz 20 year olds haven’t done anything right so you just get them started but yet what people fear is it 40 50 or 60 if I do go back out to work.

I got to go do what I’ve done before which maybe doesn’t turn me on anymore or how do I even get into doing what I’ve done before when I’m 40 50 or 60 because guess what we don’t like to talk about it but ageism oh absolutely is something that exists even though you know you can’t pin them on it here’s the thing though all of those issues happen because people are used to how you and I grew up how did you get a job how’d you get your first job Silke well either my friends told me about a job or an opening or you just went to …

I as a waitress so I applied at various places okay good a lot of times we looked in the newspaper you remember newspapers oh you know is that antiquated idea but the thing is you looked in the newspaper to see what jobs are open that’s how we grew up you go look and see what jobs are open so you can apply so that you can maybe get that job okay now here’s the deal dr. Phil would say something like how’s that working for you know applying for jobs and.

I think the worst thing someone can do at 40 50 or 60 if they’re going to be making a career change or even going back to work is applying for jobs it’s it’ll do for your self-esteem what getting kicked in the head with a steel boot will do okay and because I do have a career coaching background as well I’m an advocate in in that work for what I call a stealth or backdoor campaign and so for any of your viewers who are watching.

I just want people to be aware you don’t have to go the old model in making a career change and what a stealth or backdoor campaign looks like is this go start talking to people about what you’re passionate about go start doing research on the things that really interest you get known by the people in those fields not because you need a job because people don’t want to sit down and talk to people who need a job because they don’t want to feel uncomfortable by saying no they can’t help but what you can do is you can reach out to people in a systematic way and based on what you’re researching based on what.

You’re passionate about you can number one get known by lots of people and Silke you and I both know people like to work with people they know and like yes right so the question is how do you get out there get known and liked you don’t get out getting known and liked by applying for jobs you do get out getting known and liked by talking to people about what you’re passionate about let me just give you a quick example so this isn’t theoretical one time a woman who is actually over 50 she figured all she could do would be stay in marketing at another technology company because people are myopic they think they can only do what they’ve done before but what happened was is I taught her this method first.

I got her very clear of her unique value and then I thought.

I asked her what are you passionate about she was Jewish he was always very into her culture wanted to do something in Judaism but she was used to big corporate America or anything what we did was we got her out talking to people of what about what fascinated her she ended up becoming the executive director of a nonprofit that trains bomb-sniffing dogs for Israel pups for peace I bring up the point though because what happens through the backdoor of relationships is it doesn’t matter what you’ve done before people give you know they open doors but for the sweet opportunities that aren’t advertised.

To people that they know and like number two ageism disappears because people can see your unique value if you’re going through the front door you kind of get eliminated before people can even see that value plus you’re they’re trying to get something from them versus just out there connecting because you’re doing research so anyhow that’s just a that’s a method if people would like more know more about that if they go to career guy which is my other career guy GUY dot com forward slash free there’s some free eBooks there that explain a little bit about this know terrific well Darrell we’re coming to the end of our segment again great point especially on you know dealing with ageism because that is that hangs over our head.

And you know as you said you can’t you know you’re not that’s not supposed to be happening but it absolutely is and people are very concerned with it anything else our closing words on this segment well how we started this segment with someone courageous enough to move on all I will say is and I’ve known this from personal experience with people I know very well as well as lots of people I’ve worked with is that when you are brave enough to face the fear and move through it becomes a phantom you see that it was the fear itself versus what you’re really capable of and.

I think in the back 40 what we’re here for is to play our biggest game that requires a lot of courage and standing up in the face of fear well great point Darrell and we will link to all of your information so everybody can get your books on developing the stealth approach to either starting a new career or finding a job and we will see you on the next segment of our second act with Paige and Silke so glad you were able to join us today if you haven’t already done so please just take one second and subscribe to our Channel buttons right over here and for more information about reinventing your life after 50 please visit our website 2ndact.

Replace a Bathroom Vent Fan, Easy 5 min Fix

Hey YouTube Welcome  and on today’s episode I have a vent fan in a bathroom that is  not working anymore so this is what our bent fan looks like and I flip the switch nothing happens so I’m going to show you how to remove the cover pull the motor out and  we can test it and then I’ll show you how to replace it this is your basic brone exhaust  fan for a bathroom these are found all the time in apartments and homes.

There are larger models  that have lights and stuff in them they’ll work about the same way but if there’s a light in it  then there may be an extra step of removing the light portion in order to get to the fan motor  for these you will just pull this cover plastic cover part down and it’ll kind  of spring off of their it’s held in place by a couple of wire Clips there’s one on this side  and one on this side to get those off this is difficult to film you pinch the wires together and then they’ll come out of that slot so like these have two little loops on  the end and they go up into this slot and then when you push the plastic up  to the top they spring out in there to hold the plastic up against the ceiling  so there’s one on each side I took that one off and then we’ll take this one off of this side.

And that removes the cover next we’re going to look at the fan in here the fan is plugged in  on the corner here so assuming it is plugged in then you’ll unplug it and we’re going to remove  this whole plate that is has the motor attached to it to remove the fan motor in this whole plate you  probably don’t need any tools but if it is caught on one of these screws like there’s a screw on the  side here the housing is screwed into a ceiling joist you may need a screwdriver to sort of Pop  the edge of that around a screw but if not then you won’t need any tools it’ll be clipped in the  side here there’s little grooves in the side of the housing box that it is in there’s one here and  on the opposite side here.

So what I’m going to do is kind of push out on the housing box until that  pops out of there and I’m going to need two hands to do it so I’ll put the phone down so remove the  motor I’m going to hang onto the motor with one hand and push out on the housing box on the side sort of wiggle it a little bit and then one of the sides will come off  and then the other side just slips out what holds this plate in here are these  parts that stick out on the side of the plate there’s one there there’s two on this side  so by pushing on the housing by pushing on this the housing it pushes it out off of this  part that sticks out and allows this whole piece to just kind of fall out of there  before we just run out and buy a new motor or a new fan altogether I want.

To test this one and make sure that what is wrong with it is in fact actually the motor  so what I’m going to do is take this plug and plug it into any outlet that I know works so  I’ve got one here then I’m going to plug in the fan you want when you’re plugging it in  make sure your fingers aren’t here in the fan anywhere I’ve plugged it in nothing happens so  the fan motor is clearly not working if you were to plug this into a outlet that you know works  and the fan starts spinning around then it wasn’t the fan motor that was the problem you might have  a bad switch or something else so be sure and test this before you just run out and replace  it otherwise you put a new one in there and it still won’t work now that we’ve established that  our motor has in fact gone bad we’re going.

To order a replacement when ordering a replacement  you can order just this whole piece but it only saves you about a dollar over ordering the whole  kit the whole box the whole that comes with the new cover and everything so if you’re doing a  basic fan like the one that we have here that is just the basic fan I would recommend getting  the whole thing this is the bronze 688 uh when last time I looked these were 21 on Amazon  uh you get the entire thing so you’ll get the whole housing and we’ll just  have to pop this part out like we did on the old one and you get a new cover  so you can put a new cover on their it’ll be all clean and shiny and new  if you are doing a fan that.

Is a higher end model that it’s like a 100 fan or something you can just  buy the motor so the motor part just the motor itself and I think it comes with another fan a  new fan blade but for just the motor with the fan blade I think they were about nineteen dollars so you can order just the motor and replace it in the housing that you have and I will link  that below I will put a link down there for just a motor replacement and I’ll also put a link for  this basic fan that I’m installing today and I’ll put those down below you can order them  on Amazon again if you’re ordering the basic one.

I would get the whole fan if you have a  complicated fan or a more expensive higher end model then you can just order the motor  and probably save yourself some money we have our new fan assembly and it comes inside the  housing like the other one was so we’ll need to pop it out the same way the old one did sort of push out so that this pops off the side  and then here’s the two flaps that are going the other side as you can see the new one and the old one look virtually identical so it should just be a direct replacement I’d be able to just pop this one back in the ceiling and.

Be all set when we go to put the new one in we’re going to want to line it up where there’s this  square hole for the outlet so my outlet is in this corner right here so I’m going to put that square  hole to the outlet corner now The Far Side from the outlet and it has the two tabs that stick out  I’m going to slide those in up in their first and get those lined up with the slots where they go  right here in the middle and then on the side and then I will push up the side that  is toward me and I’m going to push it all the way up until it snaps in place foreign if you heard the little pop I hope I wasn’t in the way when it did it  now that it’s in place I can go ahead and plug it in and.

I can now you’re going to want to put this hit the switch and try okay my fan did come on it came on it worked like it was supposed to so we’ll put the cover on  to put the cover on if you flip the little spring a little spring things out the sides you pinch them  and you slide them up in the slot you can do one at a time or you can try to do both  slots at the same time I kind of prefer the one at a time method so you pinch the spring  together and then it’ll go in the slot our final step is to push it up to the ceiling and there you go nice new shiny vent fan  hope you found this helpful please like And subscribe and we’ll see you back here next time Rosco Reviews.
