What is digital marketing if you ask 100 random people? What is digital marketing you’ll? Probably get 100 different answers from academic type, answers to general ones from a blogger, YouTuber or maybe just some random examples. Ask a handful to write people.
What digital marketing is and you’re going to get a better answer, I didn’t say the right answer. I said a better answer to what is digital marketing, for example? Do you say potato or potato? How do you get the sum of four? Is it by adding two plus two or three plus one, or is it by adding up one plus one plus one plus one they’re, all correct? That’S right! Yes, I said it and that’s because there are different layers of Truth.
What I’m about to tell you on what my definition of what digital marketing is stems from practical, Real-World experience and being a student of it for some years? Now, that’s right, I said student. Why? Because I’m always learning – and you should be too so here’s my definition of what digital marketing is. Are you ready? Digital marketing is marketing in a digital world? Now, let’s expand on that digital marketing is getting and leading your people to take the desired action you want them to take online.
I repeat digital marketing is getting and leading your people to take the desired action you want them to take online, and your people can be defined as your target audience Prospect, potential customer future, client and so on, and all good digital marketing is trackable, measurable and relevant. Some of the ways that digital marketing is done today is by doing search engine optimization, also known as SEO, paid advertising like Google ads and Facebook ads, also known as pay-per-click sales funnels, the marketing funnel email, marketing and video marketing.
