HTML 1.1 How to Save a HTML file and show file extension in windows

Hello programmer welcome to mainstream right now we will discuss about how to save a HTML file in your windows, using a text editor so right now I will open the notepad and save a HTML code. So, as you can see, my program wants to show a Hello programmer in the browser, so in saving the file you need to click the file in the menu bar and choose save us, so you need to click the desktop so that your file will be saved In a desktop and then in the file name, you will put your desired file name, so my final name will be hello programmer and you need to put a .html so that your file will be saved in HTML. So .html is only a file extension for HTML.

So, others use .HTM, so .HTM and.

Html are just the same for HTML forms, so the trick is, you need to “ save as type” and click the drop-down box and choose “ all files”. So now, if we click save your file will be saved in your desktop.

So, as you can see, my program is already saved in the desktop.

So next is we will use notepad because some of you use notepad in their coding. So, the same as step-by-step works here notepad you need to click, “, file”” and click, “ save us”, and you need to put your desired file name: helloprogram2 and click “, save as” and the .html file extension and your path where you save your file and the “ save as type”.

We need to find that all takes all types which is located in the upper most upper part.

What you call this the list and click “ Save” as you can see, as you can see, there is a helloprogram2 in my desktop.

So, most of the users in Windows doesn’t have a file extension in their programs. As you can see, in my window there is a file extension .html, so some of you didn’t set the default setting which, which didn’t show the file extension. If you want to show the file extension, you need to click any folders and click view in the menu bar.

So, as you can see in my settings here, the file name extension is check.

If you want to show the file extension, you need to check the box here in the file name extension.

So, the file explorer will remember your setting until you disable it in the future, meaning if you shut your computer down, the setting will be saved whether you check it or you didn’t. If you check it, the file extension will show, but if you didn’t check it, there’s no file extension in your program.

If I remove the check, as you can see, there’s no file extension in my program.

If I put a check, there’s a file extension .HTML.
