MUST SEE Texture! EASY Technique YOU Can Try – DIY Flower Art + Gold Leaf AB Creative Tutorial

Today, we’ll be making some gorgeous 3D reliefblooms using my homemade piping tools, andsome super satisfying techniques. It will be much easier than it looks. I fancy something different. We’ve got the bigger canvas today, 40cm by30cm, and I would like some big floral piece. I don’t know whether I’m going to go with one or two or three off-center.

I was looking at some anemones peonies and it might be a cross between those two. I’m going to just sketch something very gently am going to use just an average pencil HB pencil.

So, okay, I won’t bore you with this I’ll be back once. This is done. I’ve actually done two and I’mgoing to have a third one, but I want this one tobe overlapping. So that’s why I drew it on a tracing paper. I’M just going to transfer it because I wanted to position it, but in my opinion it would look best. So, this one is going to be underneath number two. You know that Iam a terrible holder, I don’t throw away anything so. I kept the leftover paste to my latest video If you haven’t watched, it was the Briar Rose, I’m very fond of it. So please have a look. I use the bag but.

The rest of the picnic was very different I’m, starting with this one. It’s a bit Pinky all.

We need is water, brushes and depending how high.

You want the paste you can just use one layer if I cut a much bigger hole. Theno course I’ll get a thicker layer of paste because. Those patterns are double layered so once I’ve done this one. The outside one can do this, but this is quite a tricky one it’s curved. I don’t have to worry too much about the drawing, because obviously I’m covering the lines anyway, I need a bit of paste in the middle so that’s. What I’m going to spread first Wiater, my brush, so it kind of Glides easily, always turn so that it’s more comfortable to reach when I’m touching with the brush. I’M doing it really gently.

If you are worried that you’re going to mess up, petals doing the one adhering to it, you can always start different sections. I can always start on this one by the time I come back.

This will be half dry. So perhaps it’s going to be easier, but OfCourse it’s up to you, I don’t mind doing it at the same time. I don’t find it that difficult but, as I said that might help someone now doing the one underneath and then the big petal really find the 3D work.

Very. Very satisfying, really, I personally really enjoy it. If you haven’t tried highly recommending it will probably be enough just for one more petal. So, this is the biggest flower.

I’ve ever made 3D don’t use very much paste at all towards the mid. Section was thinking that this was the last straw, but I still have some. I can always come back with a second layer once this is dry. If I wish to, I ran out of the pinky ones, I’ve got a white paste. That OfCourse is the same, should be no problem just. Trying to squeeze it to the corner and I’ll continue the same way: Somebody asked me recently. If I get any brush lines, I do get a very small ones, but I do want them actually, so I sometimes go over to make them more prominent. Otherwise, it’s very smooth: I’ve decided to add a bit moreen the already existing one just to make it even thicker.

Now this this is the trickiest part ever herein, don’t know why I drew it so complicated, now I’m suffering. What was I even thinking? I do like challenge. Don’t misunderstand me this is nice this. Is nice challenge is good. Thank you for the mid sections. I’M actually made a much smaller piping tool because I thought flower would really benefit from very thin lines: and some small dots as well and, of course, I’m going to repeat it. On the other ones, I was going to complete it tomorrow, but I can’t believe those little filaments are dry and that’s like an hour unbelievable.

So I am just going to add I think they’re called anthias or in other words just some little dots. Now a very quick job of painting everything white, especially the pink sections I’mgoing to go over the whole layer of paint time forth background everything is white. At the moment and, the pink disappears almost disappeared. I still can’t decide what colors I want in the end in that case, if you’re not sure my suggestion is, go with something really neutral, because we can always add some more colors. This is going to be white, OfCourse, quite a lot of white. I want it quite to pale you know I didn’t want a bit of Gray a little bit of gray, but I mean a little look at this. I also have a color that I really like this is gray butut’s, paints gray, so there’s a hint of blue I love it one of my personal favorites. It does look black.

Once you add White Everything Changes and a little bit of gold. Why gold?

Because there will be some gold on the flowers later, so I know that I do want some gold.

This is my Plains. Gray look. What happens? Can you see this almost blue color and then I will be adding of course lighter darker sections. So, at the moment we have some kind of a penguins palish Gray. I am not going to use Planet knife because. All those petals are quite complex, bandit’s going to be very difficult to get in between okay, I’m going to continue and cover the whole canvas, and now I want to create some color forth flowers, one of my lovely patrons suggested Naples, yellow and, I might add it just towards the middle. I’M just kind of wondering how much toad to those flowers a little bit in some places this is a super thick color.

I think I’m going tour mute it a little bit later. Okay, so just themed section we’ll have this this hint of yellow! Think that will look nice as youkan see the Shadows are progressing every hidden part and of course the yellow is less exposed now and we knew it blend it with gray now some section so I’ll darken them even more maybe forgot about something the mid sections so thesis a mix Of everything I’ve got on my plate, at the moment the beige and the gray, so every area that’s raised get some Heights, so this will create the effect of sort of Bend. Petals in some places need some more contrasts of courses. There needs to be some darker color.

This beige is just one color I want toad. I think I want some gray as well, adding some Shadows, a round of flowers now kind of trying to decide.

How do I want the background to? Look, a couple more Shadows. I felt you know we need a bit. More contrast, some darker areas some deeper values here. Well now, I’m going to do something that I might regret. I just want to mess-up the background a bit. I do like the flowers now but.

I definitely want some the alphabets here and there. I do want them straight. This is a really dry brush. There’s no water here at the same time. Don’t want to mess it up so but apprehensive Asi, always say. If you don’t try, you will not know Ican still wipe it off. Things go wrong, but at the moment I think I am liking. It let’s just do that now, I do want some dark paint around it’s going to blend in with those drips in my imagination, think that’s going to look. Nice might even create some drips.

You know just good measure much happier with the outcome at the moment even some black in places, I’m planning some gold as well. So that’s going to be awesome. I hope your liking it because the more I add the more I like it first I was going to do just the light background, but at the moment I think it was a good decision to darken it up I’m trying to send some drips down, as you can see and go down Before I add the gold, I think I have to lighten up some of those stamen a few of them a bit lighters there’s some darker background, just the ones I’m standing out gilding paste and adding some gold leaf. So let me start with the biggest one’ll be more generous than last time.

Foreign gold will look pretty nice on these colors, I mean with these colors just choosing, which sections I want to be gold that’s, probably the most gold I’ve used for a long time and, of course, those little babies. I like them, so they will get okay, let’s leave it 15 minutes and see if I like it, I’m not applying here, because I want to see whether that’s enough or maybe, I need to add some more well. I think I’ve left the gold leaf for too long, hopefully it’ll still work and then we’ll be checking where I put them, I’ll just keep applying and once I’m done, we’ll start peeling It Off I think we’re ready to take it off. Look at those I’m goon an reapply some, but I usually I don’t like it everywhere. I love those little dots.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Indefinitely enjoyed making those flowers these were the biggest 3D flowers. I’ve ever made, and I really enjoyed the process. I hope you did too.
