Wattsup guys and welcome back to a brand-new episode here on the Koi Partner channel. In today’s video I will explain how you can select the best koi in the future. Most of the hobbyists have the same dream, owning a Koi that so beautiful that it can even win prices at a Koi show in your own country of even better on a Koi show in Japan. Winning is perhaps even more special. If your fish has won a prize, the jury, including often Japanese breeders, has chosen your fish to be the best in his or her variety.

But how do you select a potential winner now? And what do you have to pay attention to when selecting a Koi? In this episode I explain what I pay attention to when I select a Koi fish in Japan. Watch the whole video because with this information you may also select a winner with your next purchase. And let me know in the comments how you select a Koi.

Of course, all your questions are welcome, I will be happy to answer them. The highest price you can get in a Koi Show is the so-called Grand Champion. During the past world championships in Tokyo, the most expensive fish in the world was also the champion.

With a value of 1.7 million the justified winner.

Let me first of all make it clear that grower often already sees what a good fish is, so a grower will always ask for more money for that fish. A potential high-quality Koi will therefore be an expensive fish in 95% of the time. So, if you are prepared to pay more for a good fish, what do you pay attention to? Let’s start. Jury members in Japan always judge the fish on different parts.

When I select a fish, I start judging the body and shape. Nr 1. Body and shape: Female Koi are getting bigger, so I select only women in 90% of the time. So, I select most of the time only female Koi. The body part can be divided into many different aspects. Think of, Hachi (forehead), Kata (shoulders), Backbone (backbone), Sebire (dorsal fin), Boire (tail fin) etc. So let me quickly introduce them one by one. Hachi. Forehead, the area on the head above the eyes, the spot where a good Tanco pattern should be. Kata: Shoulders. That is the area between the head and the start of the dorsal fin. Backbone. Is the backbone, one of the most important parts to look at when you are purchasing a new koi. Sebire. Dorsal fin.

Obie. Tail Fin Ozaukee: End of the tail fin. Tebar. pectoral fin Oya bone: Is the first and thickest fin spray Taiko. Taiko indicates the height of a koi. When I select a Koi, I first look at the overall body. I find it very important that the Koi is in balance and the lines of the head to the tail are in balance to and the fish has a well-aligned body. Sometimes I call it the torpedo shape. f I like the body shape I continue, and I look at the shoulders (Kata) and the spine (backbone). The shape, length and width of the backbone are important factors for me to be able to assess whether a Koi will become big.

Therefore, always take the time to judge a fish well. Then I look at the tail and the tail-starter. Is this in line with the rest of the body and is it high and thick enough then I know that it is an indication of a strong fish. And strong fish are generally larger. And finally, I look at the height of the fish. A potential large Koi is characterized by a high body in combination with a good backbone. Number 2 is skin quality. A component that can be studied in great detail. Without making it very complicated I will explain which parts I assess from the skin quality. When I look at the skin quality when selecting a young fish, you actually look at its potential.

Because not all things will be visible in a young fish, it is important to pay attention to a number of components that can predict how this will develop further. What many hobbyists often do not take into account is that the skin quality and skin condition are two things that have to be seen separately. Skin condition is temporary, and you have to be able to see through it if you want to be able to assess the skin quality.

What is important to me is that I can judge the depth and consistency of the pigment You know what you can expect from some bloodlines when you can use previous experiences. But I know from experience that a good pattern is extremely important for many hobbyists. Tip you buy a Koi because you like it. Growers look through that. They mainly look at the first 2 parts of this video. Perfection does not exist, at least hardly. Buy a fish that you are sure to be satisfied with in half a year. Hey, I’m Madeline Mann. In this video, you’ll get all the career fair and job fair tips, including how to prepare, what to do, and an entire script and framework of what the heck to say, and I reveal what all of your competition is doing, so that you stand out. And just stay to the end, because I’ll give you something special to refine your elevator pitch. A job search is not something you should do alone, and this channel has led to thousands of people making successful moves in their career. So, a career fair is where companies set up tables and hordes of people gripping resumes walk up and talk to them.

I want to first tell you what it feels like to stand on the other side of that table representing a company. Once you know what it’s like to be the one doing the hiring, it is going to become very clear why the advice I give you will make a massive difference when you show up there. It will be night and day, okay? So, people walk up to the table, they first ask, “What does your company do?” I give them the spiel for the 85th time that night and they ask, “What roles are you hiring for?” Which then I respond, “All kinds of roles. “What roles are you looking for?” At which point, so incredibly often, this question is difficult.

It sends them for a loop. They go, “Well, I’m not sure. “I’m getting my MBA right now, “so maybe something in marketing or maybe a finance role.” At this point, I’m going to be real with you, I definitely know we’re not going to hire that person because the reason a company hires someone is to solve a business need. You must know what value you add to the world. A company does not want to be your career experiment.

So anyways, they hand over their resume, we talk a bit, they give a floppy, fish handshake, and then hightail it out of there to the next company. So, knowing that, here are the steps to absolutely crush it at career fairs for the three stages, okay, so there’s pre-fair, during the fair, and after the fair. First, pre-fair. Pick out the companies you want to meet when you get there and research them. Here’s how you research them. First, make a beeline to their careers page and see if they have any open roles for you. If they don’t have an open role that you’re looking for and they aren’t one of your top companies of interest, I would stop researching them for now and come back to them later if you have time.

But, if you really like this company and really want to make connections there, then continue the rest of the steps, bub. Second, know what they do and who they do it for. I try to find a quick video on them or an article where I can get the gist. Write down one reason why you would want to work for the company. Don’t stop researching until you have an answer to that question. It could be because they have a cool product, you believe in their mission, you saw a post from an employee that talks about why it was such a great place to work. So, learn about the company and then find a genuine reason why you would want to work there. Third, find out how big the company is for context. And fourth, find a current piece of information, such as a tweet or a recent piece of news about them, such as they launch a product, they moved offices, they had a bring your pharmacist to work day, I don’t know.

But, have that news in your back pocket. So that’s the quick and dirty way to research these companies and make sure you write these findings down. Next, print out your resumes and if you really want to impress them, create a folder specifically for your target companies, okay? Now, you can’t do this for every company if there’s 100 companies there.

I’m assuming you’re human and you need sleep. But, for your favorites, you could create a folder, slap their logo on the front, and place your resume, some work samples, and even a customized cover letter for them. If you need help writing a cover letter, I got you. I’ll link a video in the description of my three-step formula to write a cover letter. It got me a job. It’s gotten many other people jobs. Also, when I say work samples, I do have a video called “How to Stand Out in an On-site Interview”, which I show you A to Z, how to make a portfolio for any profession to show your work samples. And so, definitely look at that video if you want some inspiration.

I will link it in the description. Part two, during the fair. Okay, once you get there, go to a company you’re less interested in to get a little bit loosey-goosey first. Don’t put pressure on this one. It’s your warm-up.

And here is the script you can use when you walk up to the table. Strong handshake, look them in the eyes, and say, “Hi, I’m first name, last name.”

Then, we’re putting our research to use right away. Say, “I was glad to see you all were going to be here.”I’m really interested in company “because reason you came up while you’re researching.” This is fantastic. They don’t have to recite to you what the company does for the millionth time and you’re showing genuine interest right of the start. You could hand over your resume now or whenever it feels right. Then, I would usually ask a question here, like, “What do you do for the company?” or “How long have you been with the company?”

This is so that we aren’t speaking at them but that it feels like a real human conversation. Then say, “I noticed you have X role open. “I am a Y professional with experience in Z, and I,” and then say an accomplishment, such as, “I’m about to graduate with an MBA with a focus in marketing “and I optimized our program’s website “to show up on the first page of Google “when you search for MBA programs.” Or, another example is, “I’m a designer “who has seven years experience at startups “and have designed graphics for over two dozen mobile apps.” I’ll give you more tips on this at the end of the video, but make it short, make it snappy.

So again, you did your research, you’re already saying how you would add value to the team and you’re not having them repeat which roles are open. Thank you! So, I would make it feel like a conversation again, so after I said this, I would ask a question here, such as, “Does that sound like what you’re looking for?” or “My understanding is that this role would do X, Y, Z, “is that right?” And then, I would probably throw in that current even thing in the news that we had heard and ask them about it.

Now, that current event could also be your intro if it’s strong, like, “Wow! “I saw this week that you all just closed “a round of funding.”Congrats!” I just recommend that you weave this into your conversation somehow to really underline that you are someone who did the research. I am curious to hear what your greatest challenge is when going to a career fair.
Leave me a comment. Alright, then, if I’m really feeling the conversation, I’ll round it out with a few questions focused on that person’s experience at the company. What have you been excited about these days at the company? What kinds of people thrive at your company? If they’ve been there for a while, I’ll ask them what do they enjoy about the company that has kept them there for all those years?

If they joined more recently, I’ll ask them, “Is this company what you had expected?” I’m giving you a lot of material here to have an organic conversation. And that’s what this is all about, people. Treat them like a human person you want to befriend.

It is not fun to stand on the other side of the table and hear someone recite a pitch they created and then hand over the resume like a transaction.

Apply online if that’s your jam. Okay, so here’s how to close it out. Ask, “Do you have a card?” If they say no, ask, “How should I follow-up?” If you forgot their name and didn’t get a card, say, “Remind me of your name,” and then write that ship down. And part three, after the fair. Follow-up the next day with an email. Say, “Great meeting you last night, name.” Reiterate your interest in the company and reattach your resume and clearly say while role you’re interested in.

This will help you in interviews and also in your quick introduction at a job fair, because this allows you to be concise and tell them exactly the information they need to hear to become a fan of you. Whenever we talk about anchor we almost always mention R&D they seem to be one of the only  companies that’s out there actually innovating new products and not just replicating new versions of  their older stuff and so when we saw the initial ads of this brand new C300 X slung over some guys  shoulder ready to go on an adventure it came as no [Music] surprise so welcome back to the lab  where our opinions cannot be bought today we’re taking a look at this brand new C300 X this is the  bigger version of the two brand new C300 power stations that Anker just launched this is the  version with the AC plug like the wall outlets on the front there is a DC version as well that just  doesn’t have these plugs it’s strictly the USBs and the 12volt car socket and stuff like that’s  it’s got like a little popup light on the top it’s about 50 bucks less and.

This is actually  pretty much a direct replacement to the older whatever 525 or whatever they call that little  thing and that one just felt like a miniature power station and this one kind of feels more  like it’s built with a purpose and as always we will leave some links down below to this unit  and any other discount codes that we can get for you guys to save you guys a little bit of money  but before we jump into our experience with the C300 X we’re going to hit you guys with a super  quick 60-second spent tear down because you’re probably not all familiar with this brand new.

Low power station first up this thing obviously passed the tiny baby lift test it weighs a total  of 9 lb you could shot put this thing across the Atlantic Ocean this has a 288w hour battery Bank  rated for 3,000 Cycles it’s got a 300 W inverter you can charge this guy up with just a regular 120  volt wall outlet you can charge it with solar you can actually charge it with a USBC.

As well which  is kind of a cool feature and in terms of ports on this thing you have three 120 volt regular house  outlets on the front here you have three USB C’s although one of them is rated for 140 WTS and is  a reverse charging socket so you could basically charge a device from there but you could also plug  a cord into that and actually charge it with that same USB C slot which is kind of cool there’s also  a Suba and just a regular 12vt car socket it’s got the anchor classic unibrow light G on the  top.

I actually really love these lights they’re super bright very convenient to have and of course this unit integrates perfectly with Anchor’s app it allows you get on there and change a couple settings that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to access and basically just control this thing from afar so in case you’re not directly beside.

It you can still change what’s happening with it and the  price of this guy right now is $249 although it’s already on the a launch sale hopefully we  can get you guys a discount before this video goes live as well to make it even cheaper for  you but regardless that’s not actually a terrible price for what you’re getting now $200 may not be  a ton of money but when you’re spending 200 bucks on a power station you still want to make sure  it works so the first thing that we did with this little guy was run an efficiency test on it to see  just how much power the inverter and the fans and everything on this actually consume this inverter  is rated for 300 W so we hit it with a load just under 300 and this power station should have been  able to run that load for about 57 minutes it actually lasted for about 50 minutes which is  87% efficient which on a small power station is actually pretty good this unit also advertises  that it can charge itself up within 1 hour so we went ahead when it was completely drained  and plugged it into a regular wall outlet inside.

Of our house and we were able to charge the thing  from 0 to 100 in an hour and 8 minutes so pretty close to being on par with what it advertises the  solar input works it’s a limit of 100 Watts with this guy though so it’s only going to charge in  about 3 hours if you use a solar panel.

I will say too when you plug a solar panel directly into this  it takes a little bit longer than a normal Power Station to kind of recognize the panels been  plugged in so if you get one and you’re messing around with it just give it a minute it’s not as  quick to respond to solar input as we’re used to seeing and you can also charge it with this 140  W Port the problem that we keep running into is that we actually don’t have a cable thick enough  to get 140 WS into this we noticed that most of our cables limit around the 70 watt Mark you’d  need a pretty decently thick USBC.

To actually get 140 wats into this power station we also wanted  to see how much this little guy could surge it’s rated for 300 WTS but if you accidentally try to  ask it to do a little bit more can it keep up and it like it can but it really doesn’t want to usually these little power stations they’re not really meant to Surge very  much but the good news on that is when we did the efficiency test we basically did.

It at 300 watts so it’s a very capable 300-watt inverter it’s not like some of these other ones that you run them at 300 WTS.

And it dies in half an hour something  really impressive with this guy too was the sound test it makes basically no noise if you look through here you can see the two little fans going so this is really good if  you’re using it for like a CPAP machine or if you’re sleeping with it in a tent when you’re  camping or something like that it really won’t make much noise at all and the last thing we  test with a little guy like this is pass through if you are charging something off of one of these  outlets and you notice the power station’s getting low can you plug it into to either like the wall  or a solar panel and then continue to power what you’re powering and use the rest of the  power to charge up the battery and you can pass through works on this guy with both AC and.

With solar which is just good news there’s actually quite a few things that we like about the CX, but the first one is going to be its size if you actually compare it to this older 5 it’s actually a 522 Power Station it’s actually kind of obvious why.

I like this design a bit more it’s really not  much taller at all but it’s significantly narrower and everything is just kind of laid out in a much  easier to use format and this also just feels a little bit more natural the way everything is  kind of laid out it has a really nice little handle right here for you to grab it weighs  absolutely nothing so your grandma can pick this up and move it around for you and it also comes  with that little strap the strap to me seems like a bit of a pain in the ass you throw it over your  shoulder and slamming into your arm it’s like a hard plastic unit I’m sure that there’s some  people out there that will find it useful we also like that this basically there’s two versions of  this power station this.

Is the AC version it has the AC ports along the bottom if you don’t  need those if you’re just like a creative you’re trying to charge your drones or computers phones  equipment like if you don’t need these plugs you can actually save a little bit of money and get  the DC version with just without that and that’s a really cool feature that normally we don’t see  normally it’s like it’s all or nothing you guys also know.

I’m a big light guy so I absolutely.

Love when anchor puts these little unibrow lights on their power stations they’re actually pretty  bright they only run about 3 Watts it’s also useful just in your tent if you’re camping  or doing stuff like that you can kind of use this thing as like a little bit of a navigational tool  there’s also eight ports on this unit you’re able to take this and use it for like a 12vt  camping fridge maybe not for a whole weekend but you can use it to power that fridge you can use  it to power your Wi-Fi router and some light so the power goes out speakers projectors all that  kind of like small little stuff 300 W.

Is not enough to power like a coffee maker or a kettle so  if you’re going like glamping and you’re going to bring your coffee maker this is not going to work  for that thing that I just wish was a little different is the solar input I get that it’s  a tiny power station but if we could get just like 200 WTS of solar into this you’d be able to charge  it in just over an hour I think that 3 hours to charge this little guy that you could deplete  even faster than that I don’t know.

I just I feel like it’d be cool if we you could see a little bit  of a higher solar input on a power station like this especially if it’s kind of geared towards  camping and that kind of stuff you don’t always have the best Sun you don’t get to choose the  weather on your camping trips uh so if you only have an hour or two of daylight it’d be cool to  be able to fully charge this thing during that time and speaking of the solar panels uh anchors  panels we’ve talked about this before.

In other videos anchor panels are kind of just expensive  they’re a little bit more than like the industry average right now they actually of course have a  on their 100 W solar panel their panels tend to be a little bit more than other brands so  you might be better off just finding the specs of what the solar input is for this and  buying a panel from a different brand honestly at the end of the day for just over 200 bucks  this thing is a pretty good deal and get we’re actually kind of starting to get a little close  to Christmas I think this will make a really good gift you can almost put this thing.

In a  stocking at the time we’re posting this video at least shop solar is supposed to have a  wicked bundle on this with a solar panel on their website so make sure you guys check that  out check the description for any coupon codes or anything else otherwise hanker good job on  doing something new and different again and not just being a follower that is all we got for you  guys.

Did you know you can use your one Gmail account to create multiple email addresses? Here’s how. <branded logo intro> Hey friends! I’m Tasia and welcome back to my YouTube Channel where I share tech tips, app reviews, and a somewhat disturbing amount of Gmail content. Today, I’m showing you how to create multiple email addresses in one Gmail account.

This is important! This is different than mail merge and Gmail forwarding where you combine email accounts. We’re learning how to create multiple email addresses from one Gmail account. Let’s go! You can create an unlimited number of email addresses using your existing Gmail address.

There are actually a couple of ways to create multiple Gmail addresses. The first way is called ‘plus addressing’. I’ve briefly mentioned this tip before in other videos, but let’s go over it in detail. I’m going to use my tasiacustodetest@gmail.com as our example for today.

In order to understand plus addressing, we first need to understand the different parts of an email address. Don’t worry, it’s easy and you won’t be quizzed after. My favorite type of learning. Everything before the @ symbol in your email address is known as the local part. Everything after the @ symbol is the domain name.

So, your local part is the unique name for your mailbox. Hence you have one Gmail account, like this disaccustom de test account. But we can easily make multiple addresses out of this one unique Gmail address. Using the Plus addressing technique, all we have to do is add a plus symbol after the local part of the email address, then type in anything we want. So, let’s say you are signing up for email newsletters from your favorite hockey team, go has go, but you don’t want to put in your actual Gmail address.

We could type in tasiacustodetest+habs@gmail.com. It’s really that easy. So, here’s another example of plus addressing.

Say you want to sign up for another free trial of a service.

Instead of creating a whole new Gmail account, you could just type in your local part then plus then something like streamingnetflix1 @ Gmail dot com. So, do you kind of get the idea here? You can really do this an infinite number of times. And by the way this works for any Gmail address, not just one where the domain is gmail.com.

So, as an example, if you created a business email address using Gmail but your domain is unique – like I’ve got info@tasiacustode.com. That’s a Gmail address but with my own domain. I can use this same plus addressing technique here. So, I could make up info+cookingtutorials@tasiacustode.com. Emails sent to any of these additional email addresses that you’re creating will show up in your Gmail inbox. Because remember, you’re not creating a new Gmail account. You’re using your existing Gmail, but creating multiple email addresses from there. But and you might know where this is going, this technique also works with a period instead of a plus symbol in the local part of the email address.

So, have you ever wondered why sometimes people’s emails are like first name period last name at Gmail dot com? And other are just first name last name at Gmail dot com, with no period? Well, you want to know the difference? Nothing. That email, whether with a period or not is going to that same one inbox.

Here’s what this looks like. You can add a period anywhere in the local part of the email address. So you could have first name dot last name or you could split up your first name with a period if you wanted to or something. So let’s see this with my actual test email account for another example. Instead of adding a plus symbol, I could say tasia dot custode test at gmail.com. Or tasia custode dot test at gmail.com. You get the idea. But there is yet another way to create another email address from one Gmail account.

This is really handy if services are onto your little plus addressing technique. You can actually change the domain of your email from gmail.com to googlemail.com. Yes, really.
So tasiacustodetest at gmail.com becomes a new address that reads tasiacustodetest at googlemail.com. And just like plus addressing, all emails sent to the googlemail email address will land in your normal, original email inbox. Now obviously, when you create multiple email addresses people will still be able to see what your local part of your email is.

So, whether I’m changing the domain or using plus addressing, people would still know tasia custodies is the original local part. Make sense? Because it’s really that easy. So, here’s the deal. I have links to a metric ton of other Gmail content in the description below.

What about the symbolism behind the swallow as a spirit animal? Return of Spring. In colder climates, Swallows tend to emigrate during the winter. This means that their return symbolizes the return of spring. Love and Devotion. The swallow bird is usually monogamous during mating season, so it’s no wonder they should be linked to love, romance, devotion and fidelity.

They represent loyalty between to loving and tender partners. Seeing a swallow during your wedding day is a great sign that your marriage will be a long and happy one, most likely than not filled with children and family.

It’s also a good sign to see them when you are experiencing troubles with your partner or arguing regularly with your loved ones. They are there to remind you that nothing is more important than love, and you should put your pride aside.

Trying to find a solution and showing empathy toward your lover’s plight will help the two of you mend your relationship and go back to happier days. It’s not a warning that things could go wrong if you don’t apologize,  but rather a reminder that love is precious and you should work hard to keep it in your life. Swallows are also fiercely aggressive when a predator tries to approach their nest, so seeing them while concerned about a problem your son or daughter is experiencing is a sign that you should stick by their side and remind them, you’ll always have their back.
