Top 10 Small Hypoallergenic Dogs 101

Are you searching for a furry friend that won’t set off your allergies? Today, we’re counting down the top 10 small hypoallergenic dog breeds that are perfect for allergic pet lovers. But first, what exactly makes a dog hypoallergenic? It’s not about a breed producing no allergens at all. Instead, hypoallergenic breeds are known for producing fewer allergens, thanks to low-shedding coats and/or lower dander levels.

As an allergy sufferer, your results may vary. Let’s get started. Italian Greyhound Italian Greyhounds are excellent small hypoallergenic dogs due to low shedding and minimal dander. Dander, which consists of tiny flecks of skin shed by animals, often along with fur, is a common allergen for humans. Fortunately, Italian Greyhounds produce much less dander compared to many other breeds, making them a good choice for some allergy sufferers.

Italian Greyhounds are easy to groom. Their short, low-shedding coats require minimal work, typically consisting of regular brushing and occasional baths.

Italian Greyhounds are known for their affectionate temperament. Their loving nature and small size make them ideal pets for individuals or families seeking a loving, low-allergen dog breed that is easy to care for. Cairn Terrier The Cairn Terrier is an excellent choice for those seeking a small hypoallergenic dog.

With their wiry double coat, Cairn Terriers shed very little, reducing the spread of allergens in the home. Additionally, their coat texture tends to trap dander close to the skin, not in the air. This characteristic makes Cairn Terriers a suitable option for some allergy sufferers looking for a small companion. Their playful and adventurous nature adds to their charm, making them a delightful addition to any household. Made famous by the iconic character Toto in “The Wizard of Oz,” Cairn Terriers have captured the hearts of many with their spunky personalities and loyal demeanor.

Beyond their Hollywood connections, Cairn Terriers are known for their intelligence and agility, traits that make them excellent companions for families and individuals alike. Chinese Crested With its unique appearance and hairless body, the Chinese Crested naturally sheds very little. Additionally, their lack of fur means they produce less dander, if their skin is taken care of, making them suitable companions for allergy sufferers looking for a small, hypoallergenic breed. Beyond their hypoallergenic qualities, Chinese Cresteds are known for their affectionate and playful nature, making them wonderful companions for individuals or families. Their distinctive appearance and lively personality add charm to any household.

Miniature Schnauzer With their double-layered coat consisting of a soft undercoat and a wiry topcoat, Miniature Schnauzers shed very little. Additionally, like the Cairn Terrier, their coat texture helps trap dander close to the skin, further minimizing allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Beyond their hypoallergenic traits, Miniature Schnauzers are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and friendly demeanor, making them wonderful companions. They are active and playful dogs that thrive on human companionship, adding joy and vitality to any household.

Havanese So far, the dogs on this list have either been short or wiry coated, but as we’ll see with the next few breeds, dogs with long hair can be hypoallergenic, too. Bred as Companion Dogs, and known for their luxurious, long, and silky coats, Havanese dogs shed minimally, but do require some upkeep. Aside from their hypoallergenic qualities, Havanese dogs are cherished for their friendly, affectionate, and sociable nature. They thrive on human interaction and are often described as charming and playful companions.

Did you know that whenever you press like on a video about dogs, you signal to YouTube that you want to see more videos about dogs? I call that a win-win situation. Give it a thumbs up to get more dog videos. Yorkshire Terrier The Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, is a wonderful small dog breed that is well-suited for individuals with allergies. Known for their long, silky coats, Yorkies shed little. Their fine, silky fur also tends to trap dander close to the skin, reducing the likelihood of triggering allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. In addition to their hypoallergenic traits, Yorkshire Terriers are cherished for their feisty, affectionate, and confident personalities.

Despite their small size, Yorkies possess a big personality and are known for their loyalty and devotion to their owners. Shih Tzu Like the former dogs, the Shih Tzu’s long, silky coat is an asset in your battle against allergens, specifically dander. Shih Tzus are cherished for their gentle, affectionate, and outgoing personalities. They thrive on human companionship and are known for their playful demeanor and devotion to their owners. Shih Tzus offer both allergy-friendly companionship and boundless love to those fortunate enough to welcome them into their homes. Bichon Frise The Bichon Frise is a delightful small dog breed known for its fluffy white coat and cheerful disposition.

Renowned for being hypoallergenic, Bichon Frises shed very little, making them an excellent choice for individuals with allergies. Their curly, dense fur does an excellent job of trapping dander close to the skin. This quality makes Bichon Frises a popular option for allergy sufferers seeking a smaller companion that brings joy and companionship without the worry of allergies. Bichon Frises thrive on human interaction and are often described as happy-go-lucky dogs with a zest for life.

Maltese The Maltese known for its glamorous and playful personality. Despite their long, flowing white coats, Maltese dogs shed little, making them an ideal choice for allergy sufferers seeking a small companion. In addition to their hypoallergenic traits, Maltese dogs are cherished for their lively, affectionate, and spirited nature. They are known for their playful antics and love to entertain their owners with their joyful personality. Maltese are often described as fearless and confident despite their small size, making them wonderful companions for individuals or families of all ages.

With their hypoallergenic coat and fun-loving temperament, Maltese dogs offer both allergy-friendly companionship and endless entertainment. Poodle (Toy or Miniature) The Poodle is often considered the number one choice among small hypoallergenic dog breeds for several compelling reasons. Firstly, Poodles are renowned for their hypoallergenic qualities, as they shed little and produce almost no dander. In addition to their hypoallergenic traits, Poodles are highly intelligent, trainable, and versatile dogs. They excel in various activities, including obedience, agility, and even therapy work.

Poodles come in different sizes, including Toy and Miniature varieties, making them suitable for individuals or families living in apartments or larger homes. And, Poodles are known for their friendly, affectionate, and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for people of all ages. With their hypoallergenic coat, intelligence, and delightful temperament, Poodles truly stand out as the top choice among small hypoallergenic dog breeds, offering both allergy-friendly companionship and endless possibilities for activities and adventures.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this look into small hypoallergenic dogs and found the perfect furry companion to suit your lifestyle and allergy needs. Remember, while these breeds are known for producing fewer allergens, individual reactions can vary, so it’s always a good idea to spend time with any potential furry friend before making a decision. A reputable, ethical breeder will be happy to assist you. Don’t forget to smash that subscribe button and give the video a thumbs up to let YouTube know you like videos about dogs. And as always, catch ya next time.

Hunt Maps for Free! Far Wide App Review

Hey guys Luke here with Eastmans hunting journals today i want to give you an in-depth review on  the far wide app while i have you here go down click the notification bell hit the subscribe  button we’re bringing out tons of new content on things that can help you be the next level hunter  so the far wide app was built for hunters by hunters it’s there to help you enhance your  mapping experiences all for free available both on desktop and the app store and google play it  allows you to find trail heads license regulations locations uh all the clicking of your finger  no more sorting through local game and fish websites uh all this stuff is found on here not  only do you have access to online maps and access points you’re going to be also included on the far.

Wide outdoor community being a part of the outdoor far wide community allows you to get access to  tips and tactics on how to hunt western big game from elk to mule deer to  mountain lion bird hunting bison hunting deer hunting it’s all there  they have new blog content every week so it assures you that you’re going to stay up to date  so you know exactly what you’re heading into during the fall so many of you may have never  heard of the app far wide it actually started out just as a mapping just a mapping application that  you can drop a few waypoints look at satellite imagery uh look at the topographical maps  far wide actually saw a need for the outdoor men and.

Women to feel free to post things such as kill  shots trophy photos a giant fish that you caught at a local at a local lake so there’s no sensory  on this uh no sensitive content that gets bumped out uh which is pretty cool  so if fridays haven’t gotten any better far wide has what’s called far wide fridays and  each week on fridays a new series of hunting gear gets published at a discounted price so  things like your sig sauer optics your hornady reloading ammunition  all as a discounted price on friday so having the app you have access to all that just to make sure  you’re never going to miss out on an opportunity to get some new gear at discounted price  so i’m going to stop talking we’re going to jump in the maps and just kind of give you a firsthand  look.

At what the maps entail all the things all the app features.

That they have we’ll do it on  desktop and on my mobile device so we just jumped in the far wide app i kind of want to show you  some things that i’ve been finding that’s most useful i’m about to go on a sheet hunt this weekend  and i’m going to drop a few waypoints on some some ridges that i’d like to glass up.

I have a friend here in wyoming that drew a once-in-a-lifetime sheep tag so i’m going to do  us a favor and add some waypoints to this map and it actually saves to your phone so you’re  not going to your phone and to your laptop to save waypoints it’s once you do it on one it’ll  save to both which is not really nice so we’re going to go up here to it’s called add an event  and right here it’ll say add a waypoint so we’re going to click on that and throw it exactly where you want you can zoom in so you get a so you get a precise location on exactly where you want a  glass so i’m going to want a glass on this ridge right here and you can add it there and name it  so we’ll say glassing point one you can name it whatever you want a little description um and you  can do this in the field too uh which is really cool you can actually save offline maps and still.

Be able to add waypoints and things like that add little descriptions i saw a sheep in this area i  saw five sheep right here so a neat feature from the far wide app so just walking through these  different features down here you can actually draw a line uh from you know distance to distance if  you’re trying to see how far a shot may be from from the bottom next to the creek to the top of.

A ridge you can do that you can see it pops up 859 yards probably not going to take a shot that far  unless you have some long-range rifles which i know it’s become pretty popular but your choice  and you can cancel save you can type whatever description you want potential shooting line and click save another feature is draw an area so a lot of you guys are pretty probably  a lot of you guys are probably familiar with this so we’re going to start there  and you know just kind of see like a general area of how far sheep might wander from its top  where it’s bedded from the top of some cliffs and down to the creek how big of an area you might  want to hunt just about a square mile so if you create an air dry on an area you can actually  move it around just to see you know how big a ridge to ridge might be use these features to.

Your advantage uh get creative with them so after you’re done uh it’ll leave you  with an endnote like if you want to add like this is going to be my Saturday trip and there are things you’re going to have to add such as a description to be able to save it  which why wouldn’t you want to add more of a description to where you’re going all these  events are saved like i said on your desktop and on your mobile device so that’s just a  few of the many features that far wide has as far as their mapping ability let’s jump into the  cell phone app and i can show you some more features so to get.

Into the map layers on your  mobile device you’re going to go over here and hit explore and what that’s going to pull up is  all of the different map layers so there is fishing and boating access points uh but for  what we’re going to be wanting to do we’re going to definitely want to look public land and you  can turn on all these map layers with a click of a button so you turn on off just skim through those  and see which ones you definitely want on they’ve got public land they’ve got trails roads parking  if you have a spot you’re thinking about going and you want a campsite they have that so it’s just a  good another cool feature of the app you can use to your advantage.

So obviously public hunting sites hunter management areas and turn that on off uh walk-in hunting areas it’s pretty popular here uh there’s it’s a lot of checkerboards so it’s definitely a map layer you don’t want turned on.

Wildlife habitat management area campsite so like i said those are where you’re going to be want to  be camping if you’re doing day hunting from a camp u’s water gauges if you’re going to be traveling  across a river or creek you’re probably going to be wanting to know how much water is so you can  know if you’re going to want to bring a pair of hip waders and stash them in the bushes and you  go on your happy way to your hunt get like i said get used to being creative with these map layers.

That’s kind of what i like to do so an important feature that i know all of you are  going to want to know and learn is the offline mapping stuff so if you’re going on to your  mapping you’re going to go to offline maps and click on this button right here  new offline maps and zone in on the sheep hunt that I’m going to be doing this weekend that  clips from that i’m going to be including in on this video so you see all the things that i found  with the far wide app to enhance my hunt this weekend after your offline map is downloaded you  can quick access to it to it says my offline pack one turn it on and you’re ready to go so you go back to the maps my offline map right there and.

You’ll be good to go just make sure when you’re going out if you’re not finding your map uh your offline map makes sure the tab is turned on.

I’ve had that happen to me before where i forget that oh i saved that offline map but you know  how do i turn it on or i forgot to turn it on so i want to reiterate that the social media feature is  only on the app it’s pretty fun to be able to get on an app with a bunch of like-minded men  and women that love the outdoors just as much as i do and be able to share my adventure with them  from the weekend and not have to be censored by worrying about if my post is going to get  taken down because.

Posted some blood on a gun and whatnot so with the far wide app you’re never  going to have that problem so that wraps up my far wide review if you haven’t check it out it’s free  you’re not going to lose out on any cash checking this out there’s no seven day free trial you’re  going to charge for a credit card it’s all free all the blog content all the uh far wide tv um  mapping uh access points you know regulations it’s all free 99 you can’t beat it.

Tech Stack
Here are the different tech platforms, systems, and service providers that I have used for my business before.

The UnXplained: The Most Haunted House in America (Season 1) | History

NARRATOR: Cayuga, Indiana, February 16, 2019. Paranormal investigator Dave Spinks and his associate Haley Sharp have traveled here to this small town to investigate a house that many consider to be the evillest place in North America. Referred to as Willows Weep, it has been the site of a series of gruesome deaths since it was built in the 19th century. Brenda Johnson owns Willows Weep. Hi, Brenda.

Dave. NARRATOR: She dismissed the rumors about it being an evil place and purchased it only a few years ago with plans to renovate it. This is my sister Haley. BRENDA JOHNSON: Hey. It’s nice to meet you.

NARRATOR: But recent events have convinced her that she may have made a terrible mistake. To this end, she’s invited Dave and Haley to come in and investigate the house and see if her strange experiences can be verified.

So, how are you doing? Not good standing here. All night last night I was sick thinking about coming over here around this house. So, tell us a little bit about the house and some of your experiences here. Well, when I bought the house, we started working on it. And then my son was working on the ceiling. The boards come flying off at him and hurt him. And I’ve been scratched in there, six claw marks down my back, doors slamming on you, banging underneath the floors.

I understand there’s been deaths in this house. Can you kind of go through those a little bit? Yeah. The man that built the house, he died in the bathtub. There were two suicides and then another hanging. And I heard that three men had been poisoned. About six months prior before I bought it, there was a man that he committed suicide in there. He fell into the chair. DAVE SPINKS: And that’s where they found him, or they found him a couple days later, right? BRENDA JOHNSON: A week.

DAVE SPINKS: A week. Week later, OK. Do you think what’s in that house is evil? Yes, I do. Without a doubt?

Yes, I do, without a doubt. If it wasn’t evil, it wouldn’t be hurting people. I don’t think there’s nothing good in there. The house was built in late 1800s, correct? 1890, yes. So, regarding the shape of the house, it’s in the shape of a cross. Upside-down cross. DAVE SPINKS: Strange. BRENDA JOHNSON: Yes, very strange. Was Willows Weep really built to attract evil spirits?

For Brenda Johnson, Dave Spinks, and Haley Sharp, the answer is a very disturbing yes.

But why would someone deliberately want to construct an evil place unless, perhaps, it wasn’t meant to attract demonic spirits but to entrap them in an effort to create a deadly warning that demons are real.

Effortless Online Banners for Business and Social Media

Online banners. They’re everywhere these days. Why? Because they work. Sitting in high visibility spots, making sure they capture the browser’s eye when it wanders. Okay, time for you all to go. Eyes on me people. Great banners invite viewers to learn more in a respectful and relevant way. Bad banners are like a noisy person in a quiet library. They’re distracting and annoying, and we transfer that annoyance to the thing they’re promoting.
Out! Stick around and I’ll show you how to easily make banners for social media and web pages in under 10 minutes.

Online banners, whether they’re advertising something or just helping create a visual theme, are pretty common. We see them on the web, social media sites, in apps. They’re everywhere. So, it’s surprising more people aren’t using them to promote themselves or their business. Why is that? Do they think they’re too hard to create? Maybe that was true in the past, but Canva makes it so easy and quick you really have no reason not to Banner-Up! Nice. Banner-Up. I just came up with that. Okay, before I show you how easy it is, make sure you subscribe to our channel. We’re dropping new videos every week. If you’re ready, let’s jump into Canva. Starting on the Canva homepage, we’ll type in banner. This brings up all sorts of banner templates. Different sizes, banners for wedding sites, social media headers, everything you can think of. The ones with crowns are for Canva for Teams or Pro subscriptions.

The ones without are free for anyone.

Look, this is how many templates are available for this search. That’s a lot. We might need to be a little more specific. Let’s try Facebook banner, otherwise known as a cover photo.
Okay, this is better, and a great way to show you how quickly you can customize a template. At Canva, when we talk about templates, we talk about starting inspired. It’s just so much easier than starting with a blank page. And I don’t care what you say.

It’s not cheating.

It’s efficiency. Okay, this is the template I’ve chosen. It has a professional business feel. Perfect to promote my time efficiency classes. Watch how easy it is to customize. First, I’ll upload my photo here. This image is already a frame, so I can simply drag in my photo like this, and it automatically replaces it. Now, I’ll change the text. You can see these text boxes are all individual.

I’ll add my text, and I’m going to drop the size of this one, so the hierarchy stays with the title of the classes. I’ll change the color like this. Add in a description, change this call to action, and add in my website address. How easy is that? Now, this is ready to post. I’ll go here, and download this as a PNG file, like this. And then I can upload it to my Facebook as my cover photo. This is what it looks like. Nice. I’m ready for the inquiries to come flooding in. And now that I’ve got the base idea, Canva makes it really easy to resize my design, so I can apply it to other social media platforms.

What I’m about to show you is a Canva Pro feature.

Of course, you can always sign up for a free trial. The feature is called Magic Resize, and with a few simple clicks, I can modify this design, so it fits. How about a LinkedIn banner? Click the copy and resize button here, and Canva will make a new document for you using the correct size. Now, as you can see, I’m going to have to move some things around a little, so I make use of this space. Move this here, this over here. Make sure you leave some space for the profile pic. I’ll just finish this bit here. Okay, that’s looking pretty good, and a lot quicker than remaking it from scratch. This is how it looks in the wild. So that’s how you would tackle the common social media banners and cover photos, but now it’s time to introduce you to the three usual suspects of web advertising.

The ringleader, Mr. Leaderboard. His lover and accomplice?

Wide skyscraper. And their trusty sidekick, medium rectangle. Together, they steal your attention whenever you go surfing across the web. There are many others in their gang, but these are the big players, and the ones most people start with. To get started, let’s see what happens when I use Magic Resize on the medium banner. Again, it’s got the right size. 300 by 250 pixels. So now I just need to move things around and make sure I’m using the space to maximum effect. Let me race through that quickly. Uh-huh. Yep. Good. Alrighty. That’s looking pretty good. You can see how quickly I could resize this ad to fit the leaderboard in skyscraper sizes. But I’m getting a bit bored with this business.

It’s time to change things up and get a new career. Drum roll, please. (drum roll drumming) Okay. Not quite what I was expecting, but I do appreciate a comfortable insole and a commanding heel.

Let’s jump back into Canva and make a leaderboard banner ad for my sensible office shoe store. I’ll start on the home page and type in leaderboard ad. You’ll see that it’s 728 by 90 pixels. There are a bunch of templates I could choose here, but this time I’m going with a blank option. The first thing you’ll see is it’s very thin. You really need to think about the hierarchy of your information here. What’s the one thing you really need to stand out? Normally it’s some text with high call-to-action value, or the logo. You’ll need that to be prominent to build up brand recognition. What should be less attention grabbing?

Normally the images. You need them on there, but with an ad of this size, they’re there to support, not take over. Or the contact details. They can be pretty small, if you have them at all. Okay, that’s looking pretty good already. Let me throw a colorful background in here. Great, that really helps the text stand out. And just like magic, I can resize it, turning it into a 160 by 600 pixels wide skyscraper banner ad. Again, I’ll move a few things around. And there, we’re all done. Because we’re working in such a tight space, sometimes it’s better to spread the information across a few pages.

And we can utilize animation. This way you can put your ad into motion and really grab attention. It sounds complicated, but it’s not. Let me show you how. I’ll just head up here and duplicate the page a few times. Now I’ll delete some of the information from here and really think about how the content is being delivered to the audience. “Need shoes?” And then on this page, “Need John.” And then on this page, I’ll hit them with the details, logo, and maybe another call to action.

Don’t delay, drop in today. Nice, that rhymes. Now I’ll click on the background of this first page and hit the animate button at the top. Because I’ve clicked on the background, I can now choose page animations. I’m going with pan for this page. The next, I really want it to pop, so I’m going to choose the type and select the pop animation. On the final page, I’m going to select the background, and this time choose a combination animation, like fun. This combines a few different animations together. There’s a lot of information on this final page, so I might just extend the timing a little.

Just do that here.

While I’m here, I might reduce the first two pages so they’re more impactful.  Let’s see what it looks like by pressing this button.  Nice. Now I’ll need to save this as a GIF or an MP4. Just go to the share menu, go to Download, select the file type, and hit this button.
And that’s it. You are now officially an online advertising expert. Well, not quite. But you know how to use Canva to build banners and promote your business through social media and web ads.

I feel like I’ve only touched on the animation side of things though.

You know you can even add video into your designs? That really grabs people’s attention. Well, if you want me to show you how to do that, let me know in the comments and we can make another video to go a little deeper. Oh, and I didn’t even show the animated elements you could use.

And mobile banners and background remover.

That’s really cool. And then this element sets, oh! Did you find this video helpful? If the answer’s yes, make sure you like and subscribe to our channel before you head off. We release new videos weekly and I’d hate for you to miss out. In fact, you could check out some of them now. Here are a few of my fabes. I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
